Hirax SmPC
Hyaluronidase is an enzyme hydrolyzing the substance in between the cells of connective tissues. It regulates the connectivity of intercellular space to facilitate easy absorption and diffusion of medications.The use of hyaluronidase has recently been greatly expanded based on such features. In particular, it is used as a topical anesthetic supplement, as well as a reducing agent of chronic neuralgia by restricting the proliferation of fibrous tissues.It is also used in preventing and treating swelling and bruise caused by surgical operations, and is effective in eliminating edema.
Liquified Hirax is a hyaluronidase drug of high purity, safety, and quality. The location of edema is where the internal immune system is actively acting, so a high-purity hyaluronidase should be used, instead of low-purity hyaluronidase that includes foreign proteins.
